Anker, a company known increasingly for home automation and audio gear, has just announced the presale of its 4K video projector, called the Nebula Cosmos Max.

The projector – which costs $999 for early birds – has already reached almost $1 million in sales on Kickstarter and will ship in April 2020 although we saw the product live in New York and it looks great.

The projector projects 3840 x 2160 pixels at 1,500 ANSI lumens, which offers some crazy brightness and color. It also has 3D sound that allows you to set the projector in a room and get full home theatre sound without external speakers.

The projector also runs Android 9, allowing you to download and use multiple video services including Netflix, Hulu, and Plex.

As the proud owner of an Anker Mars projector I’m totally into this new model, especially given the 4K resolution and early bird price.

You can pre-order the projector here and check out the Kickstarter page here.
