Need help bolstering your session prep? Roll & Play can help!

It may seem like I’m putting up a lot of DnD / TTRPG stuff as of late, but it’s because I’ve been finding just a lot of great content out there. Not only that, these are great resources for a game that lends itself very, very well to being played with everyone remote from each other. One of the latest, that’s specifically for helping DMs with their prep, is Roll & Play.

Where do you find fantastic beasts? In Fantastic Lairs, of course!

When it comes to getting things prepped for the DnD campaign I’m running for friends at work, I’m totally down with getting assistance from prepared modules and such. My first time running the table, that’s what I’ve used, and I’ve supplemented the homebrew world with them since. It makes it easier, especially on a new DM. One of the latest resources coming available is Fantastic Lairs.

Take your game on the road with the Dungeon Box Pocket

Well, at least, when it’s actually ok and safe for you to take your game on the road. I seem to be featuring a number of TTRPG accessories as of late, and I blame it on the resurgence of the popularity of it as a game genre, as well as playing it with friends at work (virtually, these days). One of the latest to cross my crystal orb is the Dungeon Box Pocket.

You likely know Wyrmwood for their dice accessories – now they’re making dice!

Earlier this week, we told you about a dice vault Kickstarter program that I felt was pretty clever. When I was writing that up, the company I had in the back of my mind was Wyrmwood, as they’ve gotten stuck there as supporters of some of my favorite real-play DnD podcasts. Well, now they’ve branched out from creating dice trays and vaults, to making actual dice.

Show off those dice (and protect them) in the Master Monk Oracle Dice Box

I’m not sure if there truly is a resurgence in TTRPG these days, or I’m just more cognizant of it since I started playing DnD again with co-workers (and now run the campaign). I’ve – so far – stuck with the standard cloth bag to hold my dice, but dice boxes (or dice vaults, if you prefer) are showing up more and more. One of the latest to catch my eye is the Master Monk Oracle Dice Box.

Dragons and dice and dungeons! It’s Wyrmling Dice!

See, I told you yesterday that it’s a great time for dice collectors of all stripes. Yesterday we talked about a cool resin dice set. What if you want something that’s heavier? That’s metal! And if you want a more-compact metal set, then this campaign for the Wrymling Dice is what you need to look at.

Hero Forge is bringing pre-printed color to your TTRPG

In case you’re not aware of it, table-top role playing games (aka TTRPG) are having quite a resurgence. Some of that (ok, a lot of that) is driven by the popularity of Dungeons and Dragons, but there are a ton of great game systems out there. Whatever the system, Hero Forge has been ready to help you design (and then 3D print) a minifig to help represent your character in the game sessions. One of the bigger drawbacks – for most – is something that Hero Forge is addressing with their latest Kickstarter project – adding color!
