The Biolite FirePit is back, and improved!

Hey, so you probably recall how we reviewed the Biolite Firepit back in November, right? If you tried picking one up after that writeup, you may have had trouble finding it. Well, it’s back in stock, and the Biolite FirePit has had some nice upgrades built in.

The BioLite FirePit – now accesorized!

If you recall, over the summer, we went hands-on with the BioLite Camp Stove (seen here). I came away impressed with the little stove (and the gadgety goodness it brought to the mix). Well, if you’re thinking you want that tech, but supersized, they’ve got you covered. The BioLite FirePit has been around a bit (and looks pretty cool in my opinion), and today’s news extends it’s capabilities.

Amazon’s FireHD tablet adopts USB-C and Dolby Atmos

Amazon has its hands in a huge number of things these days. They want to do it all, from the Everything Store to creating a huge public surveillance network. Sometimes, it’s as benign as just launching an updated device to read books and listen to music on. Like this Kindle FireHD. Sometimes, they curate the features enough that it kicks ass. This is hard to do, when Kindle Fire sort of lives in the shadow of Android as a whole. (I write this, fully getting the irony that there aren’t any successful Android tablets outside of FireHD.)
