I’ve had a pair of Nocs Provisions binoculars are part of my camping gear ever since we reviewed the Standard Issue last summer. Those were nice and compact, but sometimes you might be looking for a much larger field of vision or more zoom. If so, it’s time for you to meet the Nocs Provisions Pro Issue Waterproof Binoculars.

Now to be clear, you’re not getting both the wider field of vision and more zoom all in one. They’re both respectable in their own rights. The 8x zoom version (which is the same zoom the Standard Issue offers) has an impressively wide view field of 429 feet, while the 10x zoom drops that to 342 feet, but of course giving you a much closer look at what made that noise you heard up in the treetops.

The Nocs Provisions Pro Issue Waterproof Binoculars are physically larger than the Standard Issue, bringing the sizing more in line to what you might have seen up on the shelf growing up. Even so, the ruggedized (and quite colorful) exterior is there, providing you plenty of grip, even in adverse conditions. Which, with an IPX7 waterproof and fogproof rating, you shouldn’t have any problems being out in the damp with these glasses.

Coming in at $295, there are five different colors of the Nocs Provisions Pro Issue Waterproof Binoculars to choose from (three of the 8x, and two of the 10x); all come with a hardshell case to protect them when they’re not on your neck, and a lifetime warranty that further encourages you to get out there in the woods and use them.
