Guess it’s a bit of a mophie day here at KN. Earlier we talked about their partnership with Tumi, and now, we’ve got something that’s perfect for those with a whole bunch of items that charge up via the Qi standard – the mophie 4-in-1 wireless charging mat.(more…)
We know – it’s all the flashy stuff coming out from Apple that normally gets the phone coverage, and for good reason – the phones are just plain popular. But what if you don’t want an iOS device? Well, the world of Android opens up a lot of other options – with one of the more interesting (and unique) ones being the Unihertz Atom XL.(more…)
Well, that’s a bit of a stretch, but ol’ Nikola did have a thing for transmitting electricity without wires, right? The other week, we told you about some charging packs from mophie, including one that could charge wirelessly. Well, this week they announced two new 15W wireless charging solutions.(more…)
I’m not entirely convinced folding phones are THE future, but they’re definitely in our collective future. Samsung have a more affordable folding phone (flip phone? we need a better term) on the way.(more…)
You can blame that headline on all my watching of Alton Brown – why have a uni-tasker when you can have a multi-tasking device? Of course, for a phone case, so long as it keeps your expensive pocket computer safe, that’s the main thing. With the Oaxis Inkcase i7, that’s not all it has to be limited to, though.(more…)
Funny thing, that. Yesterday, we told you about new cases and glass protection for the Google Pixel 4a (right here), and we also covered the new Samsung phone launches (here). Well, wouldn’t you know it – Gear4 and InvisibleShield smashed those two together, and now we’ve got some new protection for those phones as well.
First up, on the case front, we’ve got (from left to right) we’ve got the Crystal Palace, Wembley, and Battersea cases. The Crystal Palace looks similar to what we talked about yesterday, and the Wembley looks like a darker version with some additional edge protection. The Battersea? That’s one we talked about in a different article (here) on iPad cases, but it still holds here. Basically, you decide the look you want for your phone – and the level of protection – and away you go. With them offering styles across devices, you could reasonably end up with the same style on all your electronics. The cases range from $29.99 to $49.99, and are specific to either the Note20 5G or the Note20 Ultra 5G.
You know if there are new cases, there’s going to be some new screen protection offered up as well. I’m a big fan of the InvisibleShield items, as I’ve got it on my iPhone (and my wife’s) as well as my iPad (watch for that review soon), as they just get the job done. As with other offerings, they’ve got a three-tiered approach to the protection you can get:
- GlassFusion VisionGuard+ ($49.99 SRP) is a hybrid screen protector that is engineered to be unbreakable and features an Eyesafe technology layer that eliminates HEV blue light without distorting the color performance of device screens.
- GlassFusion ($39.99 SRP) is a hybrid screen protector thatprovides users with complete edge-to-edge protection while preserving the touch sensitivity of the device screen.
- Ultra Clear+ ($29.99 SRP) is an ultra-thin film screen protector that features advanced high-definition clarity combined with Self-Healing Nano-Memory Technology that makes InvisibleShield Ultra Clear+ feel and look as great as the device’s own screen.
However you go, there’s no denying our phones are expensive and crucial parts of our daily lives – so it makes sense to wrap them up in some great protection. You can check out the product-specific pages for the Note20 5G or the Note20 Ultra 5G, or just head on over to Zagg to find protection for your own device.
Earlier this week, Google announced the new Pixel 4a and Pixel 4a (5g) and Pixel 5 (you can see that here). Well, you know that protection for those devices wouldn’t be far behind. One of our favorite protection brands, Zagg, is here with new Gear4 cases and InvisibleShield screen protectors for those devices.(more…)
The Eggtronic Charging Stone is a wireless charger puck compatible with any Qi wireless charging device – just like a million other devices out there. But this one is made from a solid block of marble. It’s heavy, substantial, stylish, and most importantly works. It now sits as a permanent fixture in my kitchen, blending in with the rest of the house(more…)
